The City Council of Santiago del Teide has announced the winners of the VI edition of the Literary Contest “Líricas de Santiago” coinciding with the end of the Patron Saint Festivities of the municipality.
So, in the mode of “Story”, the first prize, valued at 300 euros, went to Maria Soledad Garcia Garrido with his work entitled “The Travels of Leopoldo Antípodas”. The second prize, endowed with 150 euros, went to Alfonso Sergio Barragan Rincon with the work entitled “El Escritor” and, finally, Pilar Hernandez Gimenez won the Special Prize -valued at 200 euros- with his work “On a Winter Night”.
Regarding the mode of “Poetry”, the prizes were as follows: the first prize, with an amount of 300 euros, went to Jose Maria Guerrero with the poetry entitled “To War, Mother”. The second prize, endowed with an amount of 150 euros, went to Juan Carlos Perez Ferrer with the work entitled “A Santiago del Teide”. The Special Prize, endowed with 200 euros, was left void.
Finally, in the “LOA” modality, there was no presentation of works.
