The City Council of La Orotava offers visitors and neighbors two “audio-guided” routes by the historical complex, called Secret and Legendary, so that “these know the history and secrets of the municipality, as well as its most emblematic places”.
The audio guides can be accessed, “with the mobile phone in hand”, through the corporate website www.laorotava.es, in the Tourism section, “or through the App created with a specific theme of the municipality”, reports the Consistory . They can be heard in both Spanish and English. “This system allows citizens to make the tours freely, comfortably and at the desired pace,” municipal sources point out.
Both itineraries can be done on foot, points out the City Council, and each one lasts approximately an hour and a half. The Consistory indicates that each of the stops on the routes are marked on the ground “with circular metal plates, with the number of the station according to the route, and each point has the identifying stamp that La Orotava is Ciudad Cittaslow from 2018».
