SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 26. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A 58-year-old woman has been hospitalized in serious condition after a fire broke out in a house in the municipality of Los Llanos de Aridane, in La Palma, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred after 10:30 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing of a fire declared in a house on Eusebio Barreto Avenue.
La Palma firefighters extinguished the flames and ventilated the building. The SUC staff evaluated and assisted the occupant of the house who, after being stabilized, was transferred to the General Hospital of La Palma due to severe poisoning due to smoke inhalation.
The police forces activated by the Coordination Center collaborated with the rest of the emergency services and carried out the corresponding procedures.
