The rehabilitation of three links of the TF-5 starts this Sunday: schedules and detours



The Cabildo de Tenerife has reported this Friday that from next Sunday and until Thursday the work to replace the 51-kilometre surface of the TF-5 will continue, so that the work will focus on the links of Puerto de la Cruz, Los Realejos and Father Anchieta.

The island councilor for Highways, Enrique Arriaga, stated in a statement that the final rolling layer will be laid at these points, and recalls that the work schedule will be from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. to reduce the affectation to traffic and inconvenience to drivers.

Asphalting improvement works will force interfering with traffic in a timely manner on these links and only during the execution of the works, since normality is resumed on the TF-5 during daylight hours, adds the counselor.

On Sunday, asphalting will be carried out at the Puerto de la Cruz junction, at exit 32, with access to the municipality via exit 35. At the same time, the asphalting of the Los Realejos junction will be carried out. This nucleus can be accessed by the TF-334, San Vicente and exit 38 La Higuerita.

The following day, July 25, the works will be resumed on the same Puerto de la Cruz junction and in parallel they will be carried out on the Padre Anchieta junction, at exit 8B, being able to access the junction through exit 8A via de Ronda. .

These works will continue at the same points and with the same detours on Tuesday.

On Wednesday, asphalting will continue at the Puerto de la Cruz junction, exit 32, and they will continue at the Padre Anchieta junction, heading north, being able to access the junction through exit 11.

On Thursday, work will be done on the Puerto de la Cruz junction and on the lower roundabout of the Los Majuelos junction, without affecting TF5. Vehicles will be able to access the Las Chumberas and Majuelos junction through the highway itself through the 7AB northbound junction.
