The Santa Cruz City Council is finalizing the procedures with the Securitas company to take charge of the security contract for the municipal offices, after the City Council terminated the contract with SH Lanzarote, immersed in a process of non-payment to the workers, as well as debts with Social Security. Securitas will subrogate the workers and will catch up with the delays that they may have suffered in recent months. As DIARIO DE AVISOS has learned, the incorporation of the new company will take place once the Governing Board approves the hiring, something that is expected to happen next Monday.
Securitas is one of the companies to which the Santa Cruz City Council extended an invitation to take over the security contract for the next six months, during which time, as announced by the Councilor for Organization, Alfonso Cabello, last week, It is expected that the City Council has the framework contract that will allow it to avoid a repetition of the current situation.
Last week, Cabello detailed the roadmap to return to normality, starting with the invitation to 4 companies to take over the contract. That first invitation was deserted, so it was decided to increase the price, going from 1.4 to 1.6 million, a modification that has finally allowed Securitas to assume the service for the next six months.
