At the end of September, Tenerife will host the second Entrena Empleo pilot project, which will take place in Adeje, to improve the employability of women between the ages of 18 and 60, with different educational levels and professional backgrounds, who are long-term unemployed. duration after maternity or dedicate themselves to the care of family members, generally ascendants and dependents.
The initiative, promoted by the Santa María la Real Foundation, has the support of the Cabildo de Tenerife which, through the Insular Foundation for Training, Employment and Business Development (Fifede), co-finances the program together with the Social Fund European. The Adeje City Council also collaborates.
Women interested in participating in this totally free programme, have until September 16 to register at https://www.entrenaempleo.org/es/register or in person at the Costa de Adeje Tourist Development Center (CDTA), from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
During the months of September to November, the participants will receive advice from specialists to carry out a new job search itinerary and focus on their professional objective; update your resume; reinforce transversal skills and digital skills; rehearse interviews to gain confidence and security in the selection process; develop employability maps and visit companies in search of their insertion.
In all job orientation activities, the skills that women have acquired or reinforced during motherhood or caring for family members will be identified and valued, so that they can later apply them in their job prospects.
