Guide to Isora already has his new Urban Mobility Plan (PMU)a document that marks the line to be followed by the Consistory to promote a more practical form of mobility in the municipality, respectful of the environment and in accordance with the standards established the European Union (EU). This plan, developed by the alomon consultantcontains an analysis of the current situation of mobility in the municipality and proposes an action plan with proposals that recommends that they materialize gradually.
The main problems detected in Guide to Isora they are the traffic on the main crossings; excessive use of private vehicles; pedestrian accessibility problems; deficiencies in public transport; a high offer of easy and accessible parking; the lack of connection between the nuclei, and the absence of adequate infrastructure for cycling.
The intention of this PMU is «achieve a new balance that reinforces the role of the most benign and efficient means of transportsuch as pedestrians, bicycles or collective transport, and the importance of the private car is reduced».
