The Cabildo de Tenerife Roads Area will continue today and next week with the rehabilitation of the TF-1 junctions at San Isidro-El Médano (55), South Airport (59) and Los Cardones (57). The works will be carried out in both directions of circulation. The Minister of Roads recalls that “in order to guarantee the safety of drivers and minimize possible inconvenience, the relevant links will be enabled in each area and the works will be carried out at night, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. ” .
During the early hours of today, tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, work will be done on the extension of the road course of junction 55, in the lanes of incorporation to the roundabout of junction 57, towards Adeje. Work will also progress on Interchange 59 in the same direction on Monday and Tuesday. Throughout the next week, in addition, work will be carried out on junction 57, both in the direction of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Adeje, as well as on junction 59, heading south.
From today until Tuesday
The improvement works will be carried out every day at kilometer points 58.6 to 59 and from 78.6 to 78.5, heading south. From today to Tuesday, vehicles going in the direction of Adeje and wishing to access San Isidro or El Médano must continue to junction 59, make a U-turn and return to Santa Cruz until junction 57. In addition, those from San Isidro or Granadilla who wish to join the TF-1 motorway, you must do so at junction 57, Los Cardones access. In addition, vehicles that want to drive south from El Médano must go to Santa Cruz to the Polígono de Granadilla Acceso B junction (52), and change direction. In the case of making the journey the other way around, they must do so via link 57.
Tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday, also the vehicles that come towards Los Cristianos and wish to access the Airport, must continue to the San Miguel, Los Abrigos and Las Galletas junction, make a U-turn and return towards Santa Cruz until junction 59. And Drivers who wish to go towards Adeje from the Airport should leave towards Santa Cruz until link 57 and make a U-turn to join the road.
Through the San Isidro junction
On Wednesday and Thursday nights, vehicles going in the Adeje direction and wishing to access Los Cardones must do so via the San Isidro 55 link. Those who wish to join the TF-1 motorway from this area, both in the Adeje direction and in the Santa direction Cruz must do it through the same link as well and the drivers who in this sense wish to access San Isidro or Granadilla through the Los Cardones access, must do so through link 55.
These works are part of the TF-1 rehabilitation plan that has been carried out since last April. In total, the works, carried out by Sacyr, will comprise nearly 40 kilometers of the road between Adeje and Arico.
