SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 14. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government Council of the Canary Islands, in its session this Thursday, has authorized the multi-annual expenditure of 48,554,258 euros (including 3% of the IGIC) for the extension of administrative contracts for the management of the public service of school transport for students of centers non-university public of the Canary Islands corresponding to the academic years 2022-23, 2023-24 and 2024-25 in order to ensure their continuity in those periods.
The General Directorate of Centers, Infrastructure and Educational Promotion of the Ministry of Education, Universities, Culture and Sports of the Government of the Canary Islands has distributed the total amount of the extension in four years, of which 6,467,828 euros correspond to this year, 16,124 .022 euros for the 2023 annuity and the same amount for 2024, and 9,838,386.36 euros for 2025.
At the time of formalizing this extension, the price review file will be initiated with the aim of updating the amounts due due to the increase in the CPI (Consumer Price Index) in recent years.
