A young man denounces a homophobic attack at the Fiestas del Carmen in Tenerife: "Fagot, I’m going to burst you"

A young man has denounced in the municipality of Cross portin the north of Tenerifea homophobic aggression during the Fiestas del Carmen, which are celebrated these days in the town. According to the police report Cadena Ser has had access, The victim assures that a boy approached him around 3:00 in the morning holding a bottle and shouting “I’m going to burst you”.

According to the testimony collected by the Ser, the alleged aggressor quickly approached him and stood in front of him “close to his face” while yelling at him.

In addition, the victim reports that while this was happening, three other men approached, encouraged the alleged aggressor and yelled at the victim that he should be dead, “faggot”, and not to come back there. About them, the attacked young man points out in the part that he does not know if they knew each other and that at least two of the three had a Canarian accent and ages that could be between 29 and 30 years old.

One of these youths told him that if he returned “from the north” he would kill him and immediately pushed him, causing the victim to trip over a bar and fall, injuring his ankles, back and knees, something that appears in the crowded with an injury report.

After this, he managed to leave the place without these men following him, although they kept shouting that if he turned around, they would kill him. At that point, the victim was able to pull his phone from him and record the screams as he walked away from him.

The next day, the victim filed a complaint at the offices of the Puerto de la Cruz National Police, says Cadena Ser.
