COMMUNICATION TO THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH
The General Administration of the State establishes that, in order to standardize the information criteria of all the Autonomous Communities, the pharmaceutical expense that is communicated monthly to the Ministry of Health does not include the billing of dietotherapeutic products or the amount resulting from the application of the Decree-law 1/2020, of urgent measures that regulates aid for the acquisition of medicines financed by the National Health System (SNS) to people who have the status of Social Security pensioners and their beneficiaries, whose annual income is less than 18,000 euros.
Both concepts represented 1,883,247.81 and 671,496.86 euros, respectively, in the last monthly payment, so the expense that will be reported to the Ministry amounts to 52,996,086.1 euros.
