The Ministry of Health of Canary Islands Government notifies two new cases of monkeypox since yesterday no new ones have been registered under study. Therefore, from the beginning of the declaration of the health alert there is 82 confirmed casesof which 54 were detected in Gran Canaria, 26 in Tenerife Y two in Fuerteventura.
All active cases are having mild symptoms and remain in home isolation receiving follow-up from Primary Care.
In this way, the confirmed and notified cases in the Canary Islands since the beginning of the alert and until today are as follows:

82 confirmed cases, 54 in Gran Canaria, 26 in Tenerife and two in Fuerteventura.

Three probable cases, pending confirmation, reported in Gran Canaria.

A suspicious case, pending confirmation, registered in Tenerife.
The protocol of Ministry of Health It classifies cases between probable and suspected depending on whether the patient meets clinical criteria and epidemiological criteria (probable cases) or if it only presents clinical criteria and in this case it is considered a suspected case.
