SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 14. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Government Council of the Canary Islands has authorized this Thursday an expense of 2,635,148.97 euros for the contracting of the maintenance and support service of the Centralized Payroll System of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands (APCAC), through an open procedure award subject to harmonized regulation and ordinary processing.
The tender budget is distributed in four annual installments, covering 36 months, from September 10, 2022 to September 9, 2025, and is distributed as follows: 271,937.75 euros, from September 10 to December 31 from 2022; 878,382.99 euros, from January 1 to December 31, 2023: 878,382.99 euros, from January 1 to December 31, 2024; and 606,445.24 euros, from January 1 to September 9, 2025. According to the bases, it is possible that the contract can be extended for another 24 months.
Currently, the APCAC staff groups whose payroll is managed through the Centralized Payroll System are: General Administration, Health and Justice, approximately 45,000 professionals.
This tender is justified by the expiration of the previous contract, since the needs that motivated it continue, the adaptation, current and future, of the Centralized Payroll System, to adapt it to the particular operation and management of the APCAC.
Among other services, the contract must include the comprehensive development of the system, software testing, advice and technical support, change and delivery management, and incident management, user service, technical support for the system and the necessary third-party software, as well as technical and functional software outside of business hours.
