SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 13 (EUROPE PRESS) –
A man, whose age is unknown, has been seriously injured after falling into an area of rocks on the Puertito de Adeje beach, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred shortly before 1:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert that a man had fallen into the water in an area of rocks on the Adeje coast.
The Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources and a basic life support ambulance and another medicalized ambulance from the SUC, members of the Firefighters Consortium and Local Police traveled to the scene.
Lifeguards in the area rescued the affected person from the sea, near the shore, provided first aid and carried out resuscitation maneuvers.
Due to the area in which the affected person was located, the firefighters evacuated him on a nest stretcher to the place where the SUC ambulances were located.
The health personnel assessed and assisted the affected person who, after being stabilized, was transferred in serious condition in a medicalized ambulance to the hospital due to a head injury.
The local police made the appropriate reports.
