SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 13 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The CC-PNC health spokesman, José Alberto Díaz-Estébanez, described this Wednesday as “embarrassing” the lack of control and transparency that there has been in the Government of the Canary Islands and in the Canary Health Service (SCS) with the ‘ case of masks’ that has culminated in a complaint from the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office.
In a statement released by the nationalist formation, he has also warned that the complaint “confirms” the alleged crimes of fraud and prevarication and opens the door to influence peddling, which means, in his opinion, that “someone has known, consented, sponsored and then hid” this operation so that “someone wins a lot of money”.
The deputy has lamented the lack of explanations from the Canarian Government when there are now “well-founded suspicions” that from the political sphere or civil servant positions there could be a “necessary collaboration” for the reduction of four million euros from the autonomous community.
