SAN SEBASTIAN DE LA GOMERA, July 12. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The body of a person has been located this Tuesday afternoon in the municipality of Valle Gran Rey during the work of extinguishing a fire that originated in La Playa street, in the Playa del Inglés area.
The fire started shortly before 4:00 p.m. in an area of tarajales and in the face of the large amount of smoke generated by the fire, members of the Local Police and the SUC ambulance indicated through the public address system to the neighbors to close doors and windows to avoid to enter their homes.
Environment and Firefighters intervened in the extinction of the flames and located the body of a person –still unidentified– whose death was confirmed by a doctor and a nurse from the area health center together with the SUC staff.
The Civil Guard has opened proceedings to clarify the facts and from the Cabildo the attempt has been considered stabilized.
