SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 12. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Board of Directors of the company Tinerfeño Medical Institute (Imetisa) has appointed Néstor Sánchez as manager this Monday.
This appointment comes after concluding the selection process convened last January to cover the position.
Of the candidates presented, Sánchez passed the three phases of the procedure and, therefore, was proposed by the selection committee, the Cabildo details in a note.
Among the functions of the position of the entity chaired by the insular councilor of Social Action Marián Franquet, the ordinary administration is included, as well as the execution of the agreements of the Board of Directors, among others.
Imetisa is a public company of the Cabildo de Tenerife and the Canarian Health Service in charge of providing the Nuclear Magnetic Resonance and Hyperbaric Chamber service.
Néstor Sánchez has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and has an ‘Executive Master’ in Business Administration and Management from the ECN Business School.
The new manager has also obtained other postgraduate degrees in the field of marketing management, commercial management and sales, in centers such as the University of Barcelona and AIESEC. In the labor field he has more than 15 years of experience in sectors such as hospitality and commerce.
