The Tagoror of the Salud-La Salle district, meeting under the presidency of the councilor responsible for the district, Carlos Tarife, unanimously agreed to request greater security for the Las Indias Park. In addition, other proposals from the public representatives of the different political formations with representation in the City Council were debated.
The representatives of the political groups that make up the Tagoror will visit the Las Indias park to check the neighborhood complaints that have been made public in recent weeks, while collecting more demands from the citizens who live in the park’s surroundings. The neighbors have denounced that there is a lack of more presence of the Local Police for a greater control of the enclosure, which has suffered damage.
The councilor of the Salud-La Salle district, Carlos Tarife, also pointed out that the greater police presence should be taken to other places and public squares such as La Granja park. Another of the issues discussed had to do with the remodeling of the La Salud neighborhood by unemployed people. The meeting also raised the placement of a wall or a protection fence on Calle Puerto de la Cruz, 16, for the safety of the residents.
Questions
In the questions section, they were interested in the activities that are going to be carried out in the Young District program, as well as the cleaning in certain points of the district. There was also a discussion about improving the loading and unloading spaces of the shops on Avenida Venezuela, as well as for the car parks of their neighbors.
