Close to a hundred people, most of them professionals from the sector, participated in the first edition of the ReSURge Employment conferenceheld at the Los Cristianos Cultural Center (Arona) and organized by Femete.
The event was aimed at people in situations of job search or to improve their employment situation with the main objective of offering them information and guidance, as well as tools, resources and keys to achieve it. The act also served as the closing of the OPEA project (Professional Guidance for Employment and Assistance to Self-employment) that Femete has developed since 2021 and subsidizes the Canary Employment Service, in charge of the funds of the State Public Employment Service, I know.
The sessions began with the presentation How to get an official title showing your work experience, given by Sheyla Acosta, a technician from the Comprehensive Training Service at the CEOE Tenerife. Subsequently, Remedios Martín, labor counselor of the SCE, intervened to talk about the EURES Programme, job opportunities in the European Community. Raquel Trujillo and Begoña Pérez, technicians from the Arona City Council, then took the floor with their presentation on Keys to undertake.
