Controlled an outbreak of fire in Santiago del Teide



The Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the Government of the Canary Islands (CECOES 1-1-2) has reported this Thursday that an outbreak of fire declared shortly after 10:00 in the municipality of Santiago del Teide has been controlled.

The fire started in an area of ​​dry vegetation very close to the population center and affected about 2 hectares of land.

Until the place, indicates the 1-1-2, members of the Tenerife Fire Department and the Forestry Brigade traveled. Finally, the fire has been considered controlled.
