The Cabildo facilitates the employment of professionals trained in higher education. The Minister of Employment, Socioeconomic Development and Foreign Action, Carmen Luz Baso, visits two of the companies that participate in the Capacita program, focused on software development and the digitization of projects, and in which students and graduates carry out internships.
Baso was at Bakata Solutions and BackGrid Responsive Technologies, which have been actively involved in helping interested individuals develop professionally through internships.
During the day, the counselor valued the collaboration of the companies to consolidate the knowledge acquired by the students and help at the same time to adapt their training to the needs of the productive fabric of the Island.
Capacita is a program subsidized by the Cabildo and financed by the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN). It is managed jointly by the Training Area and the University Employment Agency of the General Foundation of the ULL.
