A 59-year-old man has been injured when he fell into a ravine in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The event occurred around 1:45 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert requesting assistance for a man who had fallen into a ravine in the area mentioned above

The GES helicopter rescued the affected person and transferred him to the Adeje firefighting helipad and from there an ambulance from the SUC took charge of his evacuation to a hospital center due to various moderate injuries.
