‘Tenerife GG’ will bring gamers together again in the largest technological event in the Canary Islands

The Canarian Esports League HiperDino finalize the details for Tenerife GGthe largest event in the Canary Islands dedicated to video games, esports and technology, sponsored by the Cabildo de Tenerife and HiperDino.

The Minister of Innovation of the Island Institution, Enrique Arriagaaffirms that “the Cabildo makes a firm commitment to a technological event of such quality as it will be Tenerife GG. Is fair will not only bring together guests and experts in esports and the gaming, but, in addition, it will allow to know the last novelties of the sector”.

For his part, the director of Marketing and Communication of HiperDino, Carlos Garciadeclares that “we are very impatient to start celebrating Tenerife GGand that attendees and the general public can enjoy an event that, due to its technical and production characteristics, seeks to be a benchmark, especially in the world gaming national and even international.

Carlos Garcia adds that “as promoters of the Canarian Esports League HiperDino We go one step further in promoting this type of event. I am sure that education, innovation, entrepreneurship, esportssport and technology will be part of an unprecedented event for six days”.

with the motto We gamers go home, Tenerife GG It will take place from July 12 to 17, 2022 at the Fairgrounds and at the Tenerife Auditorium, and will have activities and content for all audiences, professional area and LAN area.

GameCon and GamePro, two large differentiated areas

Tenerife GG will have two large differentiated areas: a recreational area (GameCon) and another professional (GamePro).

GameCon is the recreational area that will take place in the Fairgrounds, and will cover all the content of esportswith more than 50,000 euros in prizes and meet & greet with content creators and influencers, in addition to the area LAN, which will have up to 2,000 seats and high-connectivity internet 24 hours a day.

visitors to GameCon will enjoy an area dedicated to K-Pop culture and fans, as well as a space called Hobby GG where they will have at their disposal more than 150 tables with activities, retro arcade machines, board games and a family-children’s area where they can learn robotics thanks to the University of La Laguna.

GamePro will host conferences by top-level national and international speakers such as Alistair Cockburn (one of the authors of the Agile Manifesto); Rocío Vidal, author of the scientific channel of Youtubethe Schrödinger’s cat; Conchi Lillo, neurobiologist at USAL, and David Bonilla, CEO of the company Manfredamong others.

One of the great claims of GamePro it is Indie GG, an area where independent video game development studios will present their projects to attendees and in which the talent of the best teams will be awarded. A unique space in which visitors to TGG they will be able to see, first-hand, some of the best video game projects created in Spain.

Secondly, form GG will have exclusive formations such as Unreal4Kidsa unique workshop focused on the game engine of Epic Games and taught by David Carmona, authorized instructor of Unreal Engine. In fact, Carmona is the only Canarian that has this official certification and one of the six in all of Spain.

With the support of Google Women Techmakers and through several of its ambassadors, a round table will be held focused on the development communities and women in the technological world in order to expose possible solutions to the problems of the sector.

Likewise, the first edition of the Awards Esports Business Live live and in a gala format, in which the excellence, work and social activism of industry professionals and organizations will be rewarded esports in Spain.

Since last Friday the sale of visitor tickets has been active, which can be purchased on a daily or weekly basis and which give access to all areas of the event, except the LAN. With the purchase of this ticket, all boys and girls under the age of eleven will have free access to the venue, provided they are accompanied by an adult.
