the mayor of The Realejos, Adolf Gonzalezand the councilor for Youth, Joseph David Cabreravisited on the morning of this Monday, July 4 the Municipal Youth House, where a total of 25 young people between the ages of 12 and 16 have started the municipal summer workshops, which will run until July 22 from Monday to Friday from 09:30 to 13:30. The program of activities is aimed at promoting education in values and teamwork through different group dynamics and various outdoor actions in contact with nature.
“This is a set of activities offered by The City Council of Los Realejos free of charge every summer to young people from the town and that once the pre-registration period was opened on June 15, in just minutes the places offered were completely covered, which denotes the interest aroused by this leisure and coexistence program year after year,” he stressed. highlighted Joseph David Cabrera that “in this edition, fortunately with fewer restrictions than in previous years, the workshops will last for a period of three weeks and dynamics will be addressed such as a cooking workshop, an equality workshop, a robotics workshop, the creation of a collective mural , a visit to the Teide National Park, kayaking and whale watching water activities or specific actions to work on the Sustainable Development Goals, among others”.
