SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, July 1 (EUROPE PRESS) –
The fire that has affected several industrial buildings in the El Chorrillo area, in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, has been controlled by the Tenerife Fire Department after 12 hours of work.
The firefighters have acted in the main ship where the fire originated – after 01:00 – and in an adjoining ship that was affected and in recent hours they have focused on suffocating and controlling a focus in another animal food ship and charcoal and in refreshing exteriors.
In addition, no personal injuries have been recorded and the owners of the ships were able to remove several trucks from the interior.
To control and extinguish the fire, declared level 3, the Firefighters consortium has mobilized all the agents of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife park and reinforcements from La Orotava and San Miguel.
