A group of residents of El Porís de Abona denounces the permanent presence of caravans and motorhomes in the town, in places that are not adapted for it, as they do not have adequate services, and bypassing the municipal regulations that prohibit parking this type of vehicle in that area.

“They don’t just come on weekends anymore, but some have been leading a normal life for weeks,” says a resident of the El Chinchorro promenade. “We have been tired of this situation for years and the police do not come here,” she says, without giving her name for fear of reprisals.
