A group of demonstrators gathered yesterday in the capital of Tenerife as a protest against the diplomatic summit that is being held in Madrid. In addition to showing their rejection of the talks that the representatives of the NATO countries began, the citizens who participated in the mobilization insisted on defending a status of neutrality and shouted against the Spanish presence in the structure of the Organization of the North Atlantic Treaty, an alliance of which it has been a part since May 1982.
