The National Police has terminated the special security device established for the celebration of the Carnivals of Santa Cruz de Tenerifein which there were no serious incidents to be regretted, thanking the citizens for their civility at Carnivals.
After the evaluative and descriptive analysis carried out by the different areas of competence and brigades, the Corps wanted to highlight that there have been no criminal acts of a violent nature or against the integrity of people, although minutes were drawn up for violation of the Organic Law 4/15 of Protection of Citizen Security.
From the National Police they emphasize that this has been possible thanks to the cooperative attitude of the citizens who attended the event, and that at all times they facilitated the police work in the field of security of the festivities.
They also highlight the collaboration of the rest of the bodies that have participated in the device, especially the Local Police, Civil Protection and the Red Cross, valuing the speed of action in the face of any requirement from the National Police.
This year, after two years of postponement due to the Covid pandemic, there has been a large influx of public in which there has been no serious incident, the majority of the actions being related to humanitarian services.
