The City Council of Santiago del Teide has carried out the hiring, starting today, Wednesday, June 29, and for the next six months, of 28 unemployed people from the municipality, through the Extraordinary Social Employment Program 2022, which is part of the Framework Agreement of collaboration between the Canarian Employment Service (SCE) and the Canarian Federation of Municipalities (Fecam).
This group of workers corresponds to the second phase of a total of 59 unemployed people who will find employment during the course of this year 2022. This program benefits from a total municipal investment of €300,000 and a subsidy from the SCE of €215,543 €.25 for the entire agreement.
Emilio Navarro was accompanied at the presentation of the agreement by the First Deputy Mayor, Ibraim Forte, the Councilor for Employment, Krysten Martín, the Councilor for Works and Services, Guillermo Évora, and the Councilor for Social Services, Tania Cuadrado.
The professional categories of the 28 people employed are: 3 Aux. administrative, 1 Home Assistant, 5 Bricklayers, 9 Construction Laborers, 1 Language Clerk, 2 Horticulture-Gardening Laborers, 6 Agricultural Laborers and a Concierge.
