SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 28. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The Canary Islands have registered since last Friday a total of 1,513 new positives in COVID-19 among people over 60 years of age, which is the population group that is followed up after passing the acute phase of the pandemic.
The accumulated number of cases of coronavirus among this group amounts to 77,505 people in the Canary Islands. Thus, the Cumulative Incidence for this age group at 14 days stands at 1,131 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days at 599.42.
Currently, in the Archipelago there are 354 people admitted with coronavirus, of which 23 are in the ICU and the rest, 331, on the ward.
On the other hand, in the last four days there have been two deaths in Tenerife of two people aged 87 and 89, who had previous pathologies and were hospitalized.
