Cross port recover the splendor of its Great Celebrations of July with a program with more than a hundred acts that begin this Wednesday, June 29, 2022, with the reading of the proclamation by the singer and painter Chago Melian, whose voice has been linked for years to some of the most emotional moments of this celebration and in 2022 is also the author of the oil painting that illustrates the advertising poster. The return of these festivities has a date especially marked in the calendar of all Porto inhabitants: the tuesday july 12the day in which the multitudinous boat of the Virgen del Carmen and San Telmo. San Telmo beach was the place chosen by the Porto City Council to present a program on Monday 27 (available at a specific website) that recovers thirteen years later acts such as the announcing cavalcade or the burning of the idler, which traditionally put an end to the festivities. Melián also thanked the tourist city for the call to contribute to “continue enhancing the festivals” of which he said that he lives them “always intensely because I carry them in my heart and, in some way, they have also marked the art that I want to share with this humble contribution that I hope you like».
