The roofing of the CEIP Llano de las Naciones sports field (328,151 euros) and the Tomás González Martín wrestling field (379,422), the electrical installation for the Paco Tejera municipal soccer field (239,466), the rehabilitation of the Hoya del Gusanito, in Costa San Miguel (730,050) and the supply of integral solar lights for Costa San Miguel (100,000) add up to the 1.8 million investment approved by the Local Government Board of San Miguel de Abona, chaired by Arturo González.
The roof of the CEIP Llano de las Naciones sports field will be a reality once the City Council, “aware of the need for this large shaded area and complying with the request of the center’s educational community, has assumed all of its cost, despite being a work for which the Canarian Government’s Department of Education is directly responsible”.
With the new electrical installation of the Paco Tejera municipal soccer field and the installation of the roof of the Tomás González Martín Lucha field “we continue in the line of gradually improving the municipal sports facilities,” says the San Miguel councilor.
The rehabilitation of the Hoya del Gusanito coastal front and the provision of photovoltaic lights for the coast “give continuity to the improvements made on the coastal promenade and in Punta de Romba”. This completes another phase of the promenade that runs between the Amarilla Golf marina and Charco de Archiles, which will substantially improve the image of the municipality.
In the words of the mayor, Arturo González, “with these actions, we continue to take firm steps to improve municipal infrastructure and services.”
