SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 24. (EUROPE PRESS) –
A woman, of whom no further information is known, has died after being rescued from the water on the coast of El Castillo, in the municipality of Antigua, in Fuerteventura, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1- 1-2.
The event occurred minutes before five in the afternoon, when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing them that they had taken a person out of the sea in an unconscious state and with symptoms of drowning, so that Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Beach service personnel found that the woman was in cardiorespiratory arrest and began to perform basic resuscitation maneuvers on her until the arrival of health resources.
The SUC staff, upon arrival at the scene of the incident, continued performing basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers without success, so they finally confirmed his death.
Police forces carried out the corresponding investigations.
