Carnival takes to the streets of Santa Cruz with the Announcer Cavalcade

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 23 (EUROPE PRESS) –

The Announcement Cavalcade of the Carnival of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, which marks the beginning of the street party, will be held this Friday from 8:00 p.m. The parade will begin in the Plaza de la República Dominicana to go through Avenida de la Asunción, Ramón y Cajal, Galcerán, Plaza de Weyler, Méndez Núñez, El Pilar, Villalba Hervás and La Marina, until reaching Francisco La Roche avenue.

The Afilarmónica Ni Fú Ni Fá, followed by the Carnival Queen, Ruth González Martín, will lead a parade in which the children’s sovereigns and the elderly will also participate with their bridesmaids, child and adult murgas, comparsas, musical and choreographic groups. , in addition to hundreds of spontaneous costumed and decorated floats and cars registered in this first carnival act in the street.

As usual, the Autonomous Organization for Festivities and Recreational Activities (OAFAR) of the City Council will enable the area for people with reduced mobility at the confluence of Méndez Núñez and Robayna streets. Television Canaria will broadcast the Cavalcade in the staging system, starting at 9:00 p.m.

CARNIVAL DANCES

This Friday, music will be the protagonist on the stage of Plaza de la Candelaria from 11:00 p.m. with La Mekánica by Tamarindos; at 01:00 with Nueva Línea, and at 03:00 with The Boys Machine.

Renzo El Selector will play on the stage of Francisco La Roche Avenue, starting at 11:00 p.m.; at 00.00 hours, Abel González; at 01.00 hours, it will be the turn of Dj Wess; at 01:30 am with Fabrizio Salgado; at 02:30 hours Ubai Hernández; starting at 03:30 a.m. Fazi Brain, and ending at 04:00 a.m., Dabunker. And in the Plaza del Príncipe, from 12:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m., there will be a musical program by Cadena COPE.
