Entrena Empleo helps 20 women from Tenerife to rejoin the labor market after a long period as unemployed. The project, promoted by the Santa María la Real Foundation, is co-financed by the Cabildo de Tenerife and the European Social Fund. The second pilot initiative will start in September and long-term unemployed women will be able to participate. The registration period will open soon on the web www.entrenaempleo.org/es
These women were disconnected from the labor market for a long period due to motherhood or the care of relatives, generally ascendants and, in addition, dependents.
These are women between 31 and 60 years old, with different training levels (ESO, Vocational Training, Baccalaureate, university degrees, etc.) and experience in various professional sectors, who have been given support and advice from specialists.
