SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 20. (EUROPE PRESS) –
The City Council of Los Llanos de Aridane has unanimously approved in plenary session the granting of a second planning license, on rural land, to a family that has lost its home due to the volcano.
The mayor of Los Llanos, Noelia García Leal, wanted to remember that already at the beginning of May they delivered the first license, thus becoming the first City Council of the Aridane Valley to grant it.
In addition, he confirmed that a significant number of licenses are being worked on, which he hopes will be approved as soon as possible.
García Leal explained that this event occurred after the Government of the Canary Islands gave the green light to Decree Law 4/22, which modifies 1/22 of January 20, by which common rustic land is enabled so that families who have lost your usual house by the volcano can build on this category of soil.
In addition, the mayor recalls that the Aridanense Consistory will discount 95% of the collection of municipal license fees, “just as we promised at the beginning of January, because now more than ever it is essential to continue supporting these families”, he pointed.
Lastly, the councilor confirmed that this government team “is going to continue working, as it is doing, to continue activating the necessary tools so that these families can recover their lives as soon as possible, and thus continue building a municipality of present and future “.
