La Orotava postpones the recital of Los Sabandeños to Tuesday, June 28

The Municipality of La Orotava announces that, due to the rain, the traditional recital of The Sabandeños in the plaza of El Llano is postponed to Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 9:30 p.m.. This group has been in charge of opening, for years, the big week of the villeras festivities, which will continue tomorrow, Tuesday, with the reading of the proclamation, by the journalist Agustin Gonzalez.

The party area clarifies that “due to inclement weather, and before the decision of the technicians of the groupthis change is decided for security reasons”.

Also this afternoon all available free tickets have been sold out for the Presentation of the La Orotava Valley Wine Harvest, scheduled for this Wednesday, June 22, in Mercedes Pinto Avenue, starting at seven in the evening. 12 wineries and 11 restaurants will participate. The capacity has been limited to about 5,500 people in this edition.
