11 girls for the last scepter of the Carnival, that of the Children’s Queen

The smallest of the house have an important appointment today, June 19, with the Election Gala of the Children’s Queen of the Carnival of Santa Cruz of TenerifeLa Galita, as it is already known among the carnival people. The show will be held, as usual, at the Recinto Ferial, and will start at 4:30 p.m., and tickets for the Galita can still be purchased at www.tickety.es. The coincidence with the match for the promotion of Tenerife, caused the schedule of La Galita to be brought forward due to mobility, access and security issues.

There will be 11 applicants who will compete in this order: Leyre González Prieto, with the fantasy The one we have bundled chicken, by David Afonso, and representing Alma Show Shows and Abordo restaurant; Jennifer Valeria Martín Morando, from the La Barca de Toscal Longuera Association, and a fantasy by Creaciones de la Rosa entitled Reawakening in Carnival Times; Candela Rodríguez Martín, with a design by Awara Creaciones called A party in my garden, to represent Hola El Paso and the El Paso City Council; Ainhoa ​​Díaz Morales, with the fantasy And I finally found you, by David Hernández, on behalf of Construcciones y Reformas NS; Irene Reyes Ramírez, with La loca hora del té, a fantasy by Patricia Ramos Negrín to represent Napavi, a hairdressing and beauty salon, and workshop Socas Cruz y Loli, manual and artisan; Dayreli Regalado Pérez, with a fantasy by Jonathan Suárez called Some day I will learn, representing Kiosko La Constitución; Valentina Díaz Santana will wear a Santi Castro fantasy called From The Heights to represent BP Guaza and Autostil Premium Cars; Sara Ortiz Martín, with Tell us another story of enchanted princesses and enchanted castles! Ruymán Pérez Jorge, for the City Council of Santiago del Teide; Elena Cabello Mena, representing El Kilo La Camella and Salvaje La Tejita, with the fantasy Con todo mi alma, by Dani Mena; Vera García Lima, representing Marino Tenerife with Alexis Santana’s fantasy The most beautiful woman who arrived in the Canary Islands; and María Cruz Asencio with the fantasy Cucu Cantaba… by Santi Castro and on behalf of Grupo El Cine and López Marrero Construcciones.

Jury

The jury will be made up of Anatael Pérez Hernández, filmmaker, art director and prop designer; Esther Rufino García, Bachelor of Fine Arts and graphic designer; Bárbara Chávez Méndez, professor at the Fernando Estevez School of Art and Superior Design; Evelyn Reiriz Vieira, graduate in Fine Arts, illustrator and designer; Mari Carmen Almenara Ramos, technical specialist in Fashion; Rebeca García Frías, choreographer, dancer and dance teacher in children’s schools and academies; Ariánn, Canarian artist, singer, cellist and model; Joel Angelino, actor in the play Little Red Riding Hood and director of the Magic Window Scenic Arts Association, and Ruth Cristina Arteaga González, first Children’s Carnival Queen of SC in 1975 with Luis Dávila’s fantasy Pavo Real.

The presenters of this gala are also boys and girls who are going to surprise the public with their abilities as performers. Their names are Sara Corimbo Monteverde, 8 years old; Daniela Valeriano Martín, 13 years old; Neymar Pérez Osorio, 7 years old; Ignacio Tetuani Rodríguez, 13; Mireia Hernández Rodríguez, with 11; Joel Arias Expósito, who is 10 years old, and Leyre Hernández Marrero, 9 years old.

The little ones will sing and dance, in addition to presenting, for which they have been rehearsing under the direction of the actress, journalist and presenter Alicia Rodríguez Reyes. They assure that what they have prepared is “impressive” and “exciting”.
