The Cruz del Carmen Visitor Center offers routes through Anaga for people with functional diversity. The Rural Park has two routes adapted to this demand: section 1 of the Los Sentidos trail and the accessible Pista de las Hiedras
Since the beginning of last spring, the second edition of the Ruta Pasapanaga program has been developed, an initiative that proposes a tour of the adapted section of the Pista de las Hiedras in which people with functional diversity can enter the heart of Monteverde to learn about the values natural and cultural of the Massif. Thus, it is possible to understand its past, its present and the importance of its conservation. All this through activities led by the park guides in which participation and the use of the senses are key.
«Attention to diversity is a challenge in the management of natural spaces; for this reason, we implement sections or complete trails adapted to special needs”, indicates the Minister of Natural Environment Management of the councilIsabel Garcia.
In Anaga Rural Parkthe team of guides from the Cruz del Carmen Visitor Center develops work with associations and groups that request it.
The two-kilometre roundtrip route allows us to understand how the word Anaga contains the elements that make this landscape a unique and special place.
