SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 15. (EUROPE PRESS) –

A 61-year-old man has been moderately injured after suffering poisoning and burns after a tool and stubble room caught fire in El Tanque, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center of the 112 of Canary Islands.

The events occurred on Tuesday afternoon in the vicinity of Avenida de Colón in the aforementioned municipality, a place to which members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium have moved to extinguish the flames, which affected a room of tools of wood attached to a house and stubble.

Likewise, the personnel of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) assisted the man who, at the initial moment of assistance, presented intoxication due to smoke inhalation and moderate burns, except for complications, for which he was transferred in a sanitary ambulance from the SUC to the Specialized Emergency Care Center (CEAU) of Hospital del Norte.

Environment personnel also appeared at the scene of the incident, as well as agents of the Local Police and the Civil Guard who secured the area and carried out the corresponding procedures.
