The councilthrough Turismo de Tenerife, has launched a promotional campaign on some of the main television networks and digital platforms to promote the Tenerife destination and attract new national tourists for this summer season.
The insular director of Tourism of the Cabildo, Laura Castro, points out that the new strategy of Tenerife Tourism works intensely on different actions in the destination, including this campaign.
Along these lines, he adds that “to capture the new profiles of potential travellers, communication plays a fundamental role, the objective of this action is to reach spectators during peak hours, in line with the island’s strategy, through emotions. audience”.
Castro points out that “each traveler is different and hopes that the destination offers him what complements him”.
For this reason, he indicates, “it is necessary to offer a wide variety of experiential options, such as festivals, sports, routes, leisure, relaxation, gastronomy, culture, that adapt to their expectations” and for this reason they wanted to “make visible the variety of services and possibilities that Tenerife offers in order to attract more than one type of traveler”.
For his part, the CEO of Tourism of Tenerife, David Pérez, details that this action is included in the marketing plan on which they have been working “to attract a younger audience, wanting to live new experiences and adventures and, on the other hand, a tourist profile that seeks exclusive experiences, in line with our destination strategy”.
With this promotion, he adds, “the different actions that we have been developing to continue positioning Tenerife as a sustainable and quality destination are reinforced.”
In addition, it indicates that “this campaign aims to increase reservations not only in these months of July and August, but also inspire travelers who opt for the months of September and October to enjoy your days off.
The campaign, designed by Turismo de Tenerife, includes a 20-second piece or audiovisual spot, which has been broadcast since June 8 on channels belonging to the Mediaset group, including Telecinco, Cuatro, Divinity, among others. others.
The promotion can also be seen on different thematic channels belonging to the Pulsa group, such as FOX, MTV, Cosmo and National Geographic, and will be enriched with publications in different general media, magazines and magazines specialized in tourism.
