On July 9, the Abades beach area (Arico) will host Gastromusic Tenerife, organized by Sabores del Norte Canarias with the support of the City Council. The director of the event, Lis Peña, pointed out that she pointed out that this year “we have moved to the south of the island after celebrating three editions in the north.” As a novelty, she says that for the first time “the zero kilometer fish contest of Tenerife will be organized, where we are going to honor the artisanal fishing of Tajao.”
It is an event that will host, in the same space, the best avant-garde cuisine, local products from Arico, activities for the whole family, contests and live music with guest artists such as Ni un pelo de idiot, Miss Music Band, DJ Renzzo The Selector or The Screensavers, among others. Admission to the festival is free, it will start at 12:00 p.m. and end at 00:00 p.m. The mayor, Sebastián Martín, remarked that Gastromusic “will be a family event that will promote the tourist revitalization of Arico”.
