Two women have been affected by smoke inhalation after a fire in the kitchen of a house located in the municipality of Granadilla de Abonain Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred yesterday, Saturday, shortly before eight o’clock at night, when the 1-1-2 operating room received an alert informing that a large amount of smoke had been generated after a fire broke out in the kitchen of a house on Isla de La Graciosa street, so the Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources to intervene in the area.
Members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium intervened at the scene and proceeded to ventilate the building. SUC personnel assisted the two affected women and transferred them to a hospital. Local Police and Civil Guard collaborated with the rest of the emergency resources and carried out the corresponding procedures.
