The Cabildo proposes a regulation for the Insular Council of Good Practices in Foreign Action and Migrant Persons. The counselor, Liskel Álvarez, recalls that the draft of these rules of the advisory body has been submitted online for public exposure and consultation. The Council aims to be a forum that attends to the current insular panorama in relation to international cooperation, development cooperation, solidarity and intercultural coexistence on the Island of Tenerife.
Liskel Álvarez considers “the commitment to global governance, transparency, citizen participation and collaboration” to be fully valid.
From now on, participatory meetings will be held with agents involved and professionals from the public administration, technical personnel, the third sector, migrant associations and related informal groups.
