Spain is already immersed in the first heat wave of 2022, as certified by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), which has predicted that high temperatures will last “at least” until Wednesday of next week, when they can be exceed 40 degrees Celsius in several areas of the center and the southern half of the peninsula and 35 degrees in much of the interior. The Aemet has launched this Friday the special warning for high temperatures that will come into force on Sunday, June 12 and that will last, at least, until next Wednesday (June 15). The geographical scope is the Peninsula, except Galicia, the Cantabrian Area and the Pyrenees.
