The thirteen year old girl that received a brutal beating last Saturday on the beach Las Teresitas (Santa Cruz de Tenerife) testified during the day yesterday before the Juvenile Prosecutor. The victim manifested at the Public Ministry that she did not know anything about the girls who beat her when he was about to leave said bathing area.

According to said testimony, the attack was allegedly not due to a problem “of jealousy, or of a couple” between the affected and the authors of injuries. In fact, he claimed that the event occurred for no reason. Apparently, the injured party was summoned urgently yesterday morning, after the video with the beating was made public last Wednesday, thanks to the interest of the family of the affected. but the images were recorded presumably by friends of the aggressors. And the violent scene was upload to social networks.

The mother of the beaten minor filed a complaint for the aforementioned episode at the South District Police Station of the capital of Tenerife, on Avenida Tres de Mayo. Due to the characteristics of the matter, the investigation of the matter was assumed by the Group of Minors (Grume) of the Judicial Police Brigade of the National Police. With the collaboration of the victim’s family, the agents identified some of the alleged aggressors.

local police

In addition, agents of the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife assigned to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office began on Wednesday morning to carry out different procedures after viewing the aforementioned video. And thanks to their efforts, other participants in the violent attack were identified.

Investigators from both security forces concluded that all those involved are also minors, but, in any case, older than the victim. The reports of these groups were forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office.

new statements

From now on, everything indicates that the alleged authors will also be summoned to take their statements in the aforementioned delegation of the Public Ministry to try to clarify the event and adopt the measures deemed appropriate.

It should be remembered that, after the release of the video recorded on the Santacrucera beach, several national television networks reported on the matter, based on the explicit violence that can be seen in the images and the participation of the aforementioned group of minors.
