Granadilla de Abona hosts tomorrow, Saturday, June 11, the concert of Manny Manuel, which will perform at Parque de Los Hinojeros, starting at 10:00 p.m., as part of the programming of the 2022 Major Festivals in honor of San Antonio de Padua. The singer, who was accompanied today at a press conference by the mayor, José Domingo Regalado, and the Councilor for Culture and Festivities, Eudita Mendoza, has invited people to enjoy his music, after two such difficult years for everyone due to the pandemic, in the concert that he will offer “to the Canarian people that he loves and admires so much”, highlighted the Puerto Rican.
José Domingo Regalado indicated that the concert, included in the program of the festivities of the Historic Village of Granadilla de Abona, is free, for which he encouraged the population to celebrate and dance, and enjoy the voice of this international singer who is so good moments has made happen to his public. For her part, Eudita Mendoza highlighted the effort from the Culture and Festivals area to release the entire program of events after the sanitary restrictions were eliminated, “so it is a pleasure to be able to receive in our municipality Manny Manuelwith which we can all celebrate again as we deserve and as we did before the pandemic” he said.
Manny Manuel stated that he was “very happy” and thanked the Granadilla de Abona City Council for being able to be back with his music in the Canary Islands, the town that he values and appreciates so much. He stressed that he is delighted to be able to get on stage at Los Hinojoros and bring all the good energy of music with his voice. The Puerto Rican emphasized that “it will be a magical night to remember, and that it is time to celebrate with joy and in style.” He also alluded to the good times, memories and ties that unite Canarias and his family.
Manny Manuel’s concert, in which he will be accompanied by musicians from the La Sabrosa orchestra, is scheduled to begin at 10:00 p.m., followed by a festival with the ‘Maquinaria Band’ orchestra.
