The presence this Thursday of jellyfish in the Almaciga beachin Santa Cruz, has forced the Municipal Operational Coordination Center (Cecopal) to raise the red flag and, at the same time, to ask bathers for caution.
“Given the appearance of numerous specimens of aguavivas/jellyfish on Almáciga beach, the red flag is raised and users are informed of the situation,” reported the Cecopal on his official Twitter account.
So far, the presence of these specimens has not been detected on other beaches in the Anaga Rural Park, such as Roque de Las Bodegas and Benijo.
