Cafeteria Mario opened its doors in 1995 after Mario, its owner, decided, along with his wife Esther, to start their own career in the professional field. Mario started working when he was 16 years old in trucks delivering electrical appliances, and Esther in a supermarket and a shoe store. A few years later, he worked for years in a bar owned by his uncle in the municipality of Candelaria, but later, they both started Cafeteria Mario, which has given them joy, anecdotes and work for 27 years.

Today, this family business continues to be a point of reference in the town, something they have gained by offering exquisite food that can be enjoyed while you read DIARIO DE AVISOS through the new app, which allows you to read the newspaper through a smartphone. At Cafeteria Mario they have a great gastronomic offer, although what their clientele knows best are the French omelette sandwiches with chacina cuts.

In addition, they have other types of sandwiches, as well as sandwiches, hamburgers, combined dishes with chicken breast, French fries, salad or rice, an exquisite potato omelette or Mario’s sandwich, which customers usually order when they want to be served. make a different sandwich. During all these years they have managed to maintain the essence, but over time they have modernized and innovated in products and dishes, improving and adapting to the times.
With COVID and the rise in prices they have been affected, but being a family business, Esther and Mario, along with their daughter Elizabeth, have been able to find a way to overcome the situation and keep this cafeteria going forward with the support unconditional of its clientele.
