SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, June 8. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 66-year-old man has been seriously injured when he was hit by a vehicle in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Center.
The events occurred at around 11:52 p.m. on Avenida Marqués de Villanueva del Prado in the aforementioned municipality, a place to which the staff of the Canary Emergency Service (SUC) traveled, who upon arriving in the area verified that the person affected had , at the initial moment of assistance, severe polytrauma, for which he was transferred to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Local Police officers also appeared at the scene of the incident, instructing the corresponding proceedings and regulating traffic in the area.
